Stain
Stain is a song about un-acknowledge culpability.
How do you right a wrong? How do you heal the transgressed?
Some injustices violate so profoundly they can stain the heart of a generation erasing all optimism. Observers of atrocity reconciliation claim only a truthful acknowledgment of the crime can initiate healing and peace. However, giving statement is both uncomfortable and unwelcome, but without it the Stain will remain.

Stain (words and music by Sean Riley)
We have a past.
Mistakes where made.
How can I make amends? I don’t want to be uncomfortable.
The stain still remains.
The stain remains.
We have history.
That’s really bad.
How can I fix this? I don’t want to be responsible.
The stain still remains.
The stain remains.
There were some injuries.
Blood on the walls.
How can I heal this? I don’t want to take my medicine.
The stain still remains.
The stain still remains.
